The owner creates lesson types with subject, level, duration, mode, price lines and realistic buffers. Instructors receive only skills they actually teach plus shifts and exceptions. The confirmed appointment enters the instructor calendar and may receive the released reminder. Staff can record arrival, start, completion or no-show according to the configured rules. The record shows what happened to this lesson without collecting educational assessment or presenting attendance as an authority register.
A reschedule checks the replacement time, eligible tutor and room together before releasing the old reservation. If the target is unavailable, the current lesson remains unchanged. A valid cancellation releases its resources and keeps the policy version, actor, time and occurrence history for the coordinator.
A lesson succeeds only when its subject requirements, instructor and optional location agree.
Calendar availability does not prove eligibility. The lesson identifies its subject, level, mode and duration, while instructor records hold the released skills and working times. Base offers or assigns only a currently eligible tutor rather than treating every open staff slot as interchangeable.
Where a physical room is required, the confirmed lesson must hold both the instructor and that room for the same period and buffers. The allocation is atomic. A room collision cannot leave a misleading tutor-only confirmation, and a tutor collision cannot reserve an empty classroom.
A reschedule acts on the actual lesson occurrence and rechecks all constrained resources. It does not erase the earlier time before the new one is valid. Completion, cancellation and no-show are explicit outcomes, so the coordinator can distinguish teaching delivered from a gap in the diary.
Tutor scheduling is an appointment constraint, not a broad school-management workflow.
An active instructor must carry the lesson skill and be working at the requested time. Mode and location can narrow the set further. Any-provider assignment selects from that eligible set only, while a specific-provider request is refused or left for review when the selected tutor cannot satisfy it.
A physical lesson that needs both instructor and room reserves both in one transaction. Existing appointments, schedule exceptions and buffers are checked for each resource. A concurrent booking that wins the room causes the other attempt to fail cleanly with no orphan instructor reservation.

A learner requests an intermediate mathematics lesson at the centre. Base finds a tutor with that subject and level, checks the classroom and reserves both for the duration and buffers. The appointment retains its accepted price and policy version through reminder, attendance and completion.
The requested instructor is free but is not marked eligible for exam preparation. Base does not confirm the lesson merely because the calendar is open. Staff can suggest an eligible tutor, correct verified skill data, keep the request pending or decline it without a false assignment.
The instructor is available at the proposed new time, but the required room is already reserved. The reschedule is refused as a whole and the original lesson remains confirmed. The coordinator can choose another room, another eligible tutor and time, or keep the existing appointment.
The system explains the appointment decision while leaving education and safeguarding duties with the tutoring business.
The lesson requirement, selected tutor, optional room, accepted policies, reminders and status changes retain actor and time. Lesson money stays between the tutoring business and customer outside Base. Relevant external facts can be recorded manually. The platform also does not decide guardian authority, staff suitability or safeguarding actions; those remain with the organisation.
